Chinese New Year Celebrations

In February and March, HKETO Berlin celebrated the beginning of the Year of the Snake together with friends and partners of the eight countries covered by our office. Receptions were held in Berlin, Bratislava, Budapest, Ljubljana, Prague, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich, and we were delighted to share with a total of more than 1 200 guests the latest initiatives and achievements of Hong Kong in attracting investment and international talents. Groups of music and dance talents from Hong Kong were invited to perform at the receptions, which showcased the vibrancy, diversity and creativity of Hong Kong's East-meets-West culture.

European Economic Congress in Katowice

HKETO Berlin joined representatives from the Polish government, business sector and think tank at a panel discussion titled "Asian Markets" at the 17th European Economic Congress held in Katowice, Poland on 24 April 2025. The Deputy Director of HKETO Berlin, Mr Billy Leung (left third), highlighted Hong Kong's strategic position and advantages as an international exchange and co-operation hub, as well as the strong support provided to assist enterprises and start-ups in the city to thrive locally and expand into other markets across Asia and globally.
